Our Story
Level Up was founded in 2024 by Jonathan Shutt. At Level Up, we focus on customer experience, business value and organizational excellence.

Jonathan Shutt grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Elon University in 2005. His very first job was for The Associated Press in Washington, DC, starting out in customer support and software installation roles before moving into roles closer to product and software releases.
From there, he moved to NYC and managed to find his way into working for MLB Advanced Media…which became BAMTECH Media…which became Disney Streaming Services…which became Disney Streaming (whew!). He helped to launch multiple video streaming products during his time there including Eurosport, ESPN+ and Disney+!
After deciding it was time for a change, he went on to work for Perry Street Software before most recently finding a position at Capital One, working in their US Card division to help improve the user experiences of Capital One associates who use and work with data every day.
Level Up came into existence as he realized that he had more to offer than a corporate job would allow him to and that - if he succeeded - he could create a place where his friends could also find a way to shine.
