Four ways to work together
The ladder runs from a single 60-minute call to a six-to-eight-week growth engagement. Where you start depends on what you already know about the problem and how much you want to throw at it.
Every engagement ends with a written deliverable you keep, and the format flexes to fit the work. Every price is fixed before we start. The founding prices below apply to the first two engagements at each tier, then they step up.
Strategy Session
$500 | 60-minute call | written recap
The problem this solves
You know something’s off, but you’re not ready to commit to a multi-week engagement just to figure out what it is.
What we'll do
We spend 60 minutes digging into your product, your metrics, and the parts that worry you most. A few days later, I send a short written recap that names the core problem and lays out what to do now, next, and later.
What you get
- One 60-minute recorded call.
- A 1- to 2-page written summary within 3 business days.
- A plain-language read on the current situation.
- The main product or growth issue to tackle first.
- 3 to 5 prioritized actions staged into now / next / later.
- One follow-up email for clarifying questions after you’ve read the summary.
Timeline
One call. Written summary in your inbox within 3 business days.
LVL-1: Early-stage Product Strategy
$3,500 founding price | 3–4 weeks | one live session per week + async work
The problem this solves
You have an idea — or an early product — but you can’t quite say who it’s for. The feature list keeps growing because every idea sounds good in isolation, and the roadmap has turned into a backlog of half-promises.
What we'll do
Over three to four weeks, we sharpen your target customer, define a focused v1, and turn the chaos of ideas into a roadmap you can actually execute against. Typically one live session per week, with async work in between.
What you get
- A lean market and competitive snapshot, focused on the decisions you actually have to make (not a 50-page deck).
- An ICP profile: who the product is for, the jobs and pains they're showing up with, and the core use cases.
- A prioritized v1 feature set with simple user stories and clear "now vs later" cuts.
- A high-level tech stack recommendation or set of options, to the extent you want one.
- A written strategy report tying all of the above together.
- A walkthrough call to review decisions and next steps with you and your team.
Timeline
3 to 4 weeks total. One live session per week, plus async work between calls.
LVL-2: Mid-stage Activation
$7,500 founding price | 4–6 weeks | diagnosis sprint + activation work
The problem this solves
People sign up. They poke around once. They disappear. You're getting traffic and accounts, and you can see the activation and early-retention numbers don't agree with the top of your funnel. Something is breaking between "they showed up" and "they came back."
What we'll do
We start with a one-week diagnosis sprint, then spend the rest of the engagement working on the highest-impact activation changes that surface. User interviews begin at this tier, and by the end you’ll have a 30-to-60-day plan with specific changes and the metrics to watch first.
What you get
- A kickoff call plus a structured review of your product and your analytics.
- A funnel and onboarding teardown.
- A short written summary of the main activation problems and the levers most likely to move them.
- An activation and onboarding audit with a clearer view of where users drop off and why.
- 5 to 8 user interviews with current and churned users, plus the synthesized insights from them.
- A friction map of the end-to-end journey, showing where the rough edges actually are.
- A 30-to-60-day prioritized fix list, with 3 to 7 concrete changes or tests sequenced for execution.
- A KPI framework covering the activation and early-retention metrics that matter most for your product, and how to track them.
- A written report and a walkthrough call to review everything together.
Timeline
4 to 6 weeks total: a sprint-style first week, then weekly live sessions with research and synthesis work between calls.
LVL-3: Growth-stage Optimization
$14,000 founding price | 6–8 weeks | growth diagnosis + roadmap
The problem this solves
You have real revenue. Growth has stalled. The team is shipping, but the metric you care about most has gone flat. You can't tell whether the issue is retention, monetization, or channels, and you don't want to spend another quarter running random experiments to find out.
What we'll do
A six-to-eight-week engagement that starts with a leadership-aligned diagnosis sprint and ends with a roadmap pairing one meaningful big bet with a set of quick wins. User interviews are deeper at this tier, and the engagement closes with a 30-day follow-up call after execution has started.
What you get
- A leadership kickoff to align on goals, constraints, and what growth needs to mean right now.
- A product and data review across the key funnels, cohorts, and segments.
- An initial view of the primary growth constraint, whether that’s retention, monetization, channels, or a mix.
- A full product and growth audit, using a jobs-to-be-done lens where it fits.
- 8 to 12 customer and user interviews across key segments.
- A revised roadmap with one meaningful big bet and 3 to 5 quick wins that can start shipping sooner.
- KPI and dashboard recommendations: what to measure, how often, and where it lives.
- A written report, a mini deck or summary, and a walkthrough call with your team.
- A 30-day follow-up call after execution has started to check what’s working and what needs adjusting.
Timeline
6 to 8 weeks total. Typically one to two calls in Week 1, then about one call per week plus interviews and synthesis in between.
ADD-ON, OR STANDALONE
Workshop: half-day team alignment
$1,500 | 4-hour live working session | add-on or standalone
Optional: the Workshop can run as a standalone, or it can sit inside an LVL-2 or LVL-3 engagement when the team needs an alignment moment in the middle of the work.
The problem this solves
Your leadership or your team needs to agree on priorities. Every roadmap conversation turns into a circular debate. People leave the meeting with five different ideas of what just got decided.
What we'll do
A focused half-day workshop where I facilitate the hard tradeoffs. The point is not consensus on every detail. The point is a clear set of priorities, an honest in / out list, and concrete next steps with owners and dates.
What you get
- A 4-hour live working session with the founder and key leads.
- A clear capture of the decisions, priority stack, and what's in vs out, in a document or board you can hand to the team.
- An immediate next-steps list: who owns what, by when.
Timeline
A single afternoon, plus light prep before the session and a follow-up note afterwards.
Frequently asked
-
Fixed pricing means I’m on the hook for the outcome, not the clock. You know what the work costs before it starts, and I know what I’m responsible for delivering. It keeps us out of the awkward ‘is this billable?’ math in the middle of a real conversation.
-
Don't overthink it. Start with a Strategy Session. One hour of rolling up our sleeves is usually all it takes to find the right path forward. If you just want a low-commitment chat first, the free fit call is right there too.
-
The prices on this page are founding prices, available for the first two engagements at each tier. Once those are placed, the prices step up. It's not a sale or a marketing tactic. It's that I'm building a body of case work and I want the first clients to get a fair rate for working with me before there's a long list of testimonials to point at.
-
Yes, with a written change order. If an LVL‑1 engagement uncovers deeper work and we both agree it’s worth moving into LVL‑2, we’ll scope the change cleanly so you’re not surprised by price or timing. The default is to finish what we started and then decide together whether there’s a next step worth doing.
-
Yes. Standard NDAs are fine. I'll flag anything unusual before we sign so we're aligned on what I can and can't talk about during and after the engagement.
Still figuring out which one fits?
The Strategy Session is built for exactly that. One focused hour, a written recap a few days later, and you walk away with a plan even if we don’t end up working together on the bigger piece. If a paid session feels like too much for a first touch, the free fit call is there too.
